Seasons

The best time visit Rwanda for gorilla trekking is from mid-May to mid-October. Between May and October is the longest dry season of the year making trekking a lot more comfortable. There is another shorter dry season between December to February which combines well with a green season safari in Southern Africa. Rwanda has a high elevation giving the country a temperate tropical highland climate. This gives you lower temperatures than one would expect of an equitorial country.
