Akagera National Park is situated in the East of Rwanda and is the up and coming wildlife destination in the region. Poaching has been all but eliminated thanks to the oversight of the Park by African Parks and local operators. The park is extremely diverse and boasts open plains, woodlands, lakes, swamp, and grassy low mountains, some of the most scenic savannah in East Africa.
Lake Kivu lies in the west of Rwanda. The lake is surrounded by magnificent mountains and is Rwanda’s largest lake and the sixth largest in Africa.
