Where is Savuti Camp: Savuti Camp is located in the Linyanti Reserve in Botswana.  The camp is set on the Savute Channel, a wildlife rich area that boasts a wide variety of animals and birdlife.  No one is quite sure when the mysterious Savute Channel will flow but when it does wildlife flocks to the area.  The area is mainly mopane woodland which is a refuge and food source to many animals.  The channel divides the area, then when dry, acts as a plain for wildlife to come out and feed on.  Dinners at camp are done in the dining are or on certain nights out in the Boma where everyone gets together to have an incredible fun evening and enjoy songs sung by the team.  We absolutely loved our time here and cannot wait to return.

Accommodation: There are a total of 7 spacious tents with large bathrooms.  One of the tented suites is a family room that has 2 bathrooms and is connected via a small corridor.  The large wooden decks in front overlook a productive lagoon and fit well into the surroundings.  Two Star Beds are nearby called the Southern Cross and Orion.  This gives guests the opportunity to sleep out under the stars in the wilds of Africa.  We highly recommend the experience, its our favourite way to stay in the bush.
