Qorokwe means “the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water”.  There is a significant amount of big game in this region of the delta.  In the peak flood there is plenty water to go around, as it dries up pools of water reside across the whole recession.  The camp is a modern camp which oozes luxury.  The ambience is set by the lagoon in front of camp that often has game around.  The camp is great for romantics and families alike as there is enough room to feel like you not encroaching on other guests.  We love Qorokwe and so have many of our guests.

Qorokwe has 9 tented suites situated off the ground.  One of the suites is a family suite with its own plunge pool.  The Rooms are large and so are the bathroom, with doors that open up brining Africa into your bedroom but keeping the wild animals out.  In the main area there is a library, lounge, bar and an infinity pool overlooking the lagoon.  It simply paradise!
