Located in the Chobe Forest Reserve, Ngoma Safari Lodge overlooks the stunning Chobe River and its endless floodplains. This is a secluded camp which blends flawlessly with its surroundings. The area is renowned for its incredible wildlife and in particular the famous Chobe elephants. It is home to more than 75 mammal and 450 bird species which makes for varied wildlife encounters. The meandering waterways of the floodplains support an impressive array of wildlife in Chobe.
Due to its location the lodge offers game walks with professional guides as well as night drives. Activities include a full day safari which includes a drive in Chobe National Park, a cruise and a picnic lunch. Birding safaris can be arranged, as well as visits to the local village.
The central area has magnificent views which take your breath away as you enter. There is a comfortable sitting area, dining room, pool and bar. There are six suites and two triple suites which can accommodate up to 3 people. All of the suites have en-suite bathrooms, outdoor and indoor showers as well as their own private plunge pools. The views from each room are simply stunning and plunge pools are often visited by the wildlife passing through camp. Its’ not uncommon to wake up to elephants drinking from your pool.
