Where is Varty’s Camp: Varty”s Camp is a family friendly luxury lodge located in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve.  Varty’s is the “The heart and soul of Londolozi” as it is a family lodge and it is in the same location as the first camp in 1926.  The Varty Family whose forefathers started on the reserve still own the lodge to this day and are actively engaged in the vision of the property and the other Londolozi products.

The lodge can also be classed as a retreat.  The “House of Healing” boasts a range of amazing spa treatments, as well as a Body Activation programme that is the ideal option whilst enjoy an African Safari.  No one says you cannot go home feeling healthy and better than when you first went on holiday!!  The camp also features a gym, a photographic studio to brush up your wildlife images, and a well stocked curio shop. There is also the option of a village tour to see how the large community of staff live on the Reserve.

Getting here is easy with direct flights from Johannesburg or Cape Town through Skukuza airport.  One can also land on the Londolozi airstrip via Federal Air.  Those that wish to self-drive may also do that.

Accommodation: Varty’s Camp has Eight Chalets and two Superior Suites.  The Superior Suites are slightly larger.  Family Chalets are opened up through the adjoining door, having the children right next door.  Each rooms has its own swimming pool, outdoor shower, large deck with multiple sitting areas.  Views are over the bush and river and the stunning savannah landscapes beyond.
